Default Rad flush/Spark plugs

Hello, I have a 2006 dodge grand caravan sxt with 60,000kms on it, and I took it to the dealer today to get an oil change and asked me if I wanted to get the rad flushed and spark plug replaced. They recommend it because it coming up to be 5 years old. I said no, and I was wondering when I should be getting these things done. Thanks.

I also have a 2006
I have 70k miles on it

I changed plugs and wires 2 weeks ago, and I changed the pcv valve too (what a pain that was)

and I will be doing the coolant in the next month

i figured it was due

Would you recommend getting the rad flushed and sparks plugs done now at 60k kms?

anything is good if you do it early. replacement cost is minimum vs not and having issues. said that if you pretty handy you could do this on your own.

Okay, I was looking at different spark plugs and found that E3 Spark Plugs have a better spark, but I also noticed that some people have had problems with a misfire, have you heard of this, or are there any other spark plugs you would reccommend? Thanks

Stay with Factory plugs if u don't want any headaches. I would throw some plugs and wires in around 5yr/60K miles. and PCV valve would be a good maintainence item too. And consider doing ur trans fluid change too.

E3 plugs doesn't last too long compare the OEM platinum plugs. I went to their website, and they have same spark plug part# cross reference with A LOT of vehicles that does not share same plugs from the factory, it doesn't make much technical sense...

Radiator flush? i would hold on to that. Because soon enuff you might need an waterpump, and you end up changing all the coolants anyway.
Main concern with ppl doesn't change their coolants are Plug heater core, and they complain about no heat in the winter.

yes stay with factory plugs. atleast they provin. i think champion or borsch are great but this was on previous vehicle ford so when comes to change mine on the 2010 i probably do either.

flush is always great regardless if you may still need to do a pump in future. either put in new at that time or just put the one you take out back in.

old coolant gets corrosive. Test its Ph with a pool strip
and check its freezing point with a hydrometer/refractometer

if those tests check out good theres no reason to change it
