Default 1999 caravan stabilizer bushings

Can I replace the Stabilizer bar bushings without removing the bar links?

In a Haynes repair manual it tells me to remove the tire and then the Links. It looks like I could remove the steel retainers and pop off the bushings without removal of the . Do you think this is possible?

I think it's possible. The bushings are split. But then why not just follow the directions?

Time is a factor and also I would probably end up replacing the links if I have to remove the degraded corroded bolts. Also I'm just guessing this is the problem. When I just turn the steering wheel left to right(not even moving ) I hear a cudunk cudunk noise sounds like the right side. Whatta you think is the problem?

IDK what a cudunk sounds like. If it was me, I'd have a helper turn the wheel back and forth while I investigated the source of the noise issue.

It could be your strut mount bearing.
yeah, open the hood, and tell someone to turn the steering wheel for you, put ur ear close to the Strut Mount area.

To check the link, just remove the wheel, grab the Link's center with a pair of Vise Grip ($5 from hardware store), and move the link left and right, you can tell if the links are creaking/frozen.
