But I don't want to grab another computer form another year if it doesn't have a chance in hell to work.

I'm confused, you say 93 here but the title says 94? I know Garretson has a pile of 94's they want $75 each (little pricy) but better than having the problem you have.
While you in there, grab a crank and cam sensor from the van you get the computer.

Yeah, I know, but it is for sure a 93, and if I goto their U-pull it yard I can get them for $18 and they have a pile of them in that yard so I shouldn't have a problem finding a couple from that vintage, and I was also planning on doing that as well.

Well put a computer in and no change... On the way down to Sioux Falls it got worse I could not go above 3000 RPM (yea I drive a little to fast) but on the way home it would go back up to 4000 RPM.... Time to start at square 1 again.....

Update... After purchasing a scope and going through everything I found that the crank sensor was at fault. The crank sensor would for some reason send an extra spike to the PCM when it hit about 3K and would cause the system to go to hell. So replaced the crank sensor today and she runs great again!

Tell us what kind of scope you bought and how much money did it take to buy it. Thanks for the update and the fix

I bought this 5 channel scope and a set of 1X/10X switchable leads http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260669422838&ssPageNam e=STRK:MEWNX:IT
The scope is a little noisy probably internally but it does show signals well and I was able to quickly pinpoint the errant signal that the crankshaft sensor was giving off. I could see the bad signal all the way to the coil pack signal wires coming from the PCM.... Never seen a crank sensor do anything like this but guess stranger things have happened...
