Default 2008 GC mpg?

Planning on driving my wifes 2008 GC from SE Michigan to Pompano Beach Fla. Wondering what kind of fuel economy I can expect. I rarely drive this van and I never really cared about mileage, but with gas creeping up on $4/gal. I'm trying to get an idea of how much fuel to budget for.

Thanks.

Welcome to DF
I have seen the stickers here for 12 to 16 mpg. Some of the members maybe getting better mileage.

Listed mileage is 24 highway. You might get somewhere close to that if you've kept up with maintenance and you leave any lead feet home. If you're using ethanol you'll get a fair bit less.

I have a 3.3 in my 2008 and made it from the Michigan-Ohio border to the New Jersey-New York border on a full tank. I filled up just before Ohio. I kept my speed at 55 with cruise control the entire way. My realtively slow speed added almost two hours to my 600 mile trip but it saved me a tank and a half of gas. I love this van!

I made it all the way to Niagara Falls and back home on a single tank of gas using the same method.

I live in Harrison Township, north of Detroit.

The feds were on to something back in the 70's or 80's (?)when they mandated 55mph speed limits nation wide. Big savings in gas. To bad that the American people couldn't deal with a few extra minutes on their commutes, etc. ON the other hand I am against government intervention into our lives! If people want to save gas they can drive 55 and stay in the right lane without they feds shoving it down our throats! Other drivers need to be more tolerant of folks trying to save gas!

Hey...even a steady 65mph with cruise will help a TON!
