Default Trans Trouble Code Help

Got a 2004 Grand Caravan SXT with the check engine light on. Pulled the codes and got a
"P0700"- Transaxle control system fault. Recieved a signal that the transaxle control module has a fault.
"P1776"- Solenoid switch valve latched in LR position. TCM has detected that the LR pressure is high.
When driving the trans stutters going into second out of first. All other shifts up and down seem smooth and fine. What is the most probable cause of this? Is the solenoid switch itself gone bad, and is that something I can get to myself? Or is there something mechanically wrong in the trans causing the solenoid to fault? I am pretty mechanically sound, but I know little about these Dodge Transaxles. I am not sure exactly which model trans I have, but I will find out shortly and get back with that info. Im sure the SXT only offered one trans choice, since it came with the bigger v6. Also, can anyone explain "LR position or LR pressure?"

So after doing a little research (i know, shoulda done that first. sorry) I see that i need to replace my shift solenoid pack. After flipping through my haynes manual "waste of time" I see nothing about a pack swap. Is this a difficult procedure? I have no experience digging into a transaxle, although i'm not afraid to. Any insight? Anyone know where i can get step by step instuctions?

If you can remove 2 electrical connectors, one sensor and 3 10mm head bolts, it's pretty easy. But, I'd be willing to bet, your problem isn't the solenoid pack.

I'm learning new things about these transmissions all the time. It appears the solenoid switch valves are in the valve body, not the solenoid pack (see link). Maybe someone can explain the relationship between the two.
