As for the Car pulls to the Right, I trust ur mechanic on this one if he say the brake is fine, and not dragging, you should be fine.
To verify the Tire pull, Swap the left and right front tire, see if that do anything.
New tires can develop a Pull too, hence Tire rotation every other oil change is recommended
These are pretty good Minivan, just take care of it.

the pre-2000 Minivan trans Blows, we used to have 2 guys in the dealership JUST to rebuild trans everyday, especially the 3 speed trans. But the 4speed improved after 2000.
Common problems are Oil/fluid leaks heres and there (well, it is a Dodge), but since u have it checked out ok, you should be fine for now.
Don't expect it to be Bullet prove, but I see a lot of customer way over 150K. I know you got a trusted Mechanic, but when it comes to repair, use more quality parts, don't go to Autozone and buy the cheapest part u can find.

Go change the trans fluid and filter every 30K, it helps.

Go buy a AAA road side assistant then, they comes in handy, good insurance. They'll help u on Flat tire, dead battery, Tow, etc...
The Dodge Minivan is #1 selling minivan for a reason. Safety on those Van are good too. My Co-worker rolled over his Van down the ditch on the Highway once, and his whole familty walked away...
Uh, can u tell wether those sounds are from ur steering Coloum or Under the Hood? Maybe there are some spots u just need to Lube up in the steering coloum.
Or just turn up the radio.
