Sunday was driving the van and turned on the rear defroster and then lost the rear wipers, all dash gauges. Looked at those issues on the forum and took apart the dash to look at the fuse panel there. Jiggled the panel and also took the wires off the one under the hood. Checked all the fuses and they are ok and have power to them. Cannot check codes because the dash won't work. After jiggling wires today the gas gauge and RPM gauge and the temp gauge work. Also, got the mileage back and the gears lit up on the dash. But instead of just the normal square around the gear you are in they all have squares around them. Left work and it sputtered and choked but finally took off, only problem is now the transmission will not shift. HELP! This is maddening a frustrating especially for someone that does not know wiring well.

giggled? IDK what's funny about your car not working properly.
Your problem sounds like the typical solder connections on the instrument cluster. Find someone that knows how to solder and it's an easy fix

It could be a cluster problem with the circuit board, but with a transmission and the rear wipers and defrost. You could also have a ignition switch problem too.
