Check your plugs and Oxy sensors, you may even need an oil change. If you do an oil swap I'd use a synthetic blend as it helps the engine run easier giving you a little better power. These usually will fix those issues. My mom had a 2001 GC Sport with a 3.3 and it got her around 16 to 18mpg. Maybe run a tank of 91 to clean out the gas lines or use a fuel additive with octane booster in it as it does the same thing. If you use the additive then put it in before you fill up because this way it will get mixed around right instantly. Start small and then work your way up to more expensive things.

Someone syphoning your gas? My dad has a 1999 Town and country 3.8l. He averages 25mpg highway and 21 city. 23 all around average. It's very cold here and lots of bad weather.
Have you ever had your brakes checked for drag?

hah it sure feels like someone is siphoning gas, where i live is about 3.89/gallon regular, i did check the brakes and they are a-okay, plugs and wires are pretty recent, and i do change oil every 3500 miles, maybe 02 arent reading optimumly..

I`ll go with the lucas injector cleaner and let you know how it goes, thanks guys

Synthetic oil, o2 sensors, etc. would cause a very small changes in mpg. If your brakes were dragging to the extent that your mpg was that low then your brakes would be roasted! A tank of 91 will do nothing but waste your money. 87 has the same detergents. Octane is not a cleaner. Seriously, you are leaking fuel or its getting siphoned. IMO if you were really getting these numbers you would have codes and black smoke coming from the pipe. A 3.3 should get 25-27 hwy and 20-22 city.
Also, clogged injectors or "gas lines" would cause a lean condition and possible rough running/idle, but not 11-12 mpg

I had a brake dragging on my dads B3500 for weeks. It was getting 13mpg. I the pads were fine. I fixed the problem (bad hose) gas mileage went to 16mpg. Normal fuel mileage city/highway should be around 22.

How did you go about checking the brakes?

Sorry for suggesting brake drag, but when an engine is running fine, why not investigate other possibilities?

How about tire pressure, tire size, tire tread pattern? wind, road conditions, other drivers, weight, etc etc etc?

I've read stories of engine crud from Synthetic oils in our older engines. That's why I recommended a synthetic blend.

I read stories that the earth will end in 2012, and saw on TV that the "Tornado" air intake system improves gas mileage, does that make it true too?

No it sure doesn't. But if you don't want to consider the safety of his engine then go ahead and recommend something that might F up his motor.
