I have a 97 dodge caravan sport that heat seems to be on when in the off postion. Someone told me this normal, but I have to drive around with window down cause it gets to hot. Does this also have something to do with my van stalling while driving and sometimes when the van is idling too. Can some enlighten me as what to do.

Have you tried to lower the temp on the heater control panel? If you have, then i would look at the recir actuator or door.
