Default 2004 Caravan - 3.3L - Check Engine Light

Yesterday our 2004 Caravan had the check engine loght come on.

The thing that bothers me is that there seems to be nothing wrong, no hesitation, np transmission slippage no rough idle.

I followed some steps toe get an error code (hold trip odometer in and turn on) The code that came across the odometer was P0700 and by searching the net it seems to be avery vague error.

Today I drove my son to school and the light is still on, but I can feel nothing wrong with the car.

HELP please!

You'll have to go to a shop with a scanner capable of reading transmission codes. The P0700 only indicates there is a fault in the transmission control system.

are you sure trans is full of fluid?.....low fluid triggers codes !!....If full of fluid the transmission control module detected a problem ( meaning another code is there or about to be triggered) or the control module is damaged....
