'96 to newer A604 TRS sensor wiring
I have been told one can splice the wires from the old style two connectors of the '93-'96 A604 position & nuetral sensor connections to the newer A604 single TRS sensor plug. Does anybody have the wiring diagrams on these, or know how to do it? I have a '96 Caravan that I want to put the newer upgraded transmission into which has the single plug connector, so I need to know how to adapt my wiring to it. Thanks
If a 1999 or later model transaxle is used for a 1998 or earlier vehicle, a TRS harness splice kit p/n 5014473AA 41TE or 5014474AA 42LE must be ordered to modify the vehicle harness.
Or go to the junk yard and cut a 99 or later TRS connector off a Chrysler car leaving 6-8 inches of wire, and splice to yours.

kevgene doesn't have a TRS sensor on their transmission, 1996 had a mid year change from the safety neutral switch and back up switch to the now TRS sensor.Thats why when you replace a 1996 transmission, the parts person should have ask with or without TRS. So the slice kit will not help. Thank you for posting the slice kit.

I am doing a 2003 trans into a 1996 GC 3.3 but it is a later 1996 that HAS a TRS. It is the old style TRS but a TRS none the less. I am converting to the new style connector because the new trans has a whole new style TRS assembly. Correct?

I ran into this situation, the bone yard had a A604 with the old round pin style TRS while the 1998 Voyager had the newer flat pin. It took me a LONG time to find the Jumper for it
and I finally found it here: http://www.makcotransmissionparts.com/A92445E.html
For anyone else that run's in to this problem.
