Default '99 Caravan Sport Brake Noise-higher speeds

I have a 99 Caravan Sport with 184k miles, lately when braking at speeds of 35 mph plus there is a humming noise coming out of the front brakes. If you let off the noise goes away and I don't hear the noise when braking at lower speeds. The rotors and pads are in good condition on both sides and at a loss for the problem.

Any thoughts?

If you can determine which side the noise is coming from, start there. Otherwise you will have to check both sides. Remove the pads from the calipers and check the friction material and make sure it is bonded completely tothe steel backing plate. I had a humming/rubbing noise on my 05 ram, and a week later, the pad material delaminated from the backing and trashed the rotor along with it. I lost another set of front pads on my aunts neon, they also delaminated. Asbestos and rivets were much better than all of this glued on crap. My 31 ford still has asbestos/brass woven linings that are 75% or better. What about the ABS acting funny, any pulsation in the brake pedal?

I'll check for the delamination and see what that does. I was thinking it may be something with the ABS, the pedal is not what I would say is spongy but doesn't exactly feel right at higher speeds.

You may have a problem with brake rotors or maybe have air in the brake system.
