my caravan is on a 3speed auto will the 4 speed bolt straight on ????? or is there a big list of things i need to change???? cheers in advance

 

can be done BUT a lot of work. Completely different wire harness, instrument cluster computers. The transmission will bolt right on if you get a trans from the same kind of engine.

I think a 4spd would "bolt" on but thats where the fun would end. The 4spd is a completely different unit. All electronically controlled. The 3spd is not. I'm sure its possible but not without lots of parts!! And time!!!

What size engine do you have in the van? And is the van a 1988?

 

yeah its an 88 and its the 3000cc v6

 

Sure you can bolt up a 4 speed, But you need to do a lot of mods to it.
