06 caravan--when i turn corners transmission rpms continue but forward movement all of sudden stops for a few momments. is this tranny sender, bands.

could fluid change and filter help?? bought rebuilt tranny couple of years ago.

 

First thing I would do is ck the fluid level and then ck for stored codes in the TCM.

 

fluid level is ok. no check engine light. Can the codes in tcm be pulled by autozone or do i need special detector or what so many refer to as something like OBD11. I am sure i didn't get the abbreaviation (obd11) correct?

 

Differential problem?

 

quite a few generic OBD2 scanners wont read tranny codes.
It couldnt hurt to give the autozone guys a try, heck the price is right

 

Hi , 30 years ago the something happened to me it was 16 degrees out side . When it warmed up I got it on a ramp an the right drive axle was not all the way in the transmission . My thoughts Bud
