2001 caravan 3.3 burning smell
I just took the EGR off, cleaned it, replaced the gaskets and put it back on. Also cleaned out the throttle body and replaced the air filter. During a quick spin I didn't notice the usual lurching at stop signs or hesitation on take off.
But when I pulled back in, I could smell a burning smell. Popped the hood and didn't see any smoke, and the smell went away fairly quickly.
Do the new gaskets make a smell when they warm up, or would it be maybe from the intake cleaner and left over loose carbon?
