Pinout for 16 pin Rearview Mirror Plug
Hi,
I am installing an accessory that needs constant 12VDC (irrespective of IGN switch position) into the overhead center council in my 2010 Grand Caravan.
I was hoping to get 12 VDC at the 2 courtesy lamps located in the overhead council, but no such luck! Seems there are 3 wires going to each lamp switch and they are just to send signal to a computer which then sends 12 VDC.
Anyway, I have the U talk option (handsfree cell phone option) so my rear view mirror has built-in microphones, as well as auto dimming. I was hoping to get an 'always on' 12VDC from the mirror, but need to know the pin-out for the 16 pin connector which plugs into the back of the mirror.
I had a 2001 van and had the service manual, but the 2010 service manual is not easy to find!!
Any help with either a pin out for the connector or a pdf of the service manual would be greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Mitch

Thanks very much for the info Tizzy1! It is much appreciated. I was hoping to find an 'always on' source of +12VDC, but guess I'll just run a wire up from the 'always on' cigar lighter in dash console.
Finding it in the mirror connector would have been ideal, but I can live with it!
