Okay, so the transmission pan seal is leaking, and I have replaced these before, but I keep hearing from others saying to use the RTV stuff. I've never used the stuff, don't know much about them, don't know how you are to use it, and is it really better than the kit gasket I can get from Autozone?

Anyhow, I'd really be interested in hearing what you all think, and any tips and tricks for this.
