Torque converter not unlocking
The converter on my 2001 is not unlocking and is causing the engine to stall when I come to full stop. If I blip the shift lever into neutral as I slow down, then toss it back into "D" once I'm fully stopped, the car will continue on just fine until the next time I have to stop again.
Could this symptom relate to a bad TCC, a related relay, or could the converter itself be bad? I haven't had a chance to scan the OBD for codes yet to perhaps confirm that. If it could be the TCC, is there an easy way to test it, or see if it's receiving power from the PCM?
ATF is at the at proper level, btw.
