It looks like I bought a van that was under water. All the wires are falling apart in the loom, the insulation on many of them falls off to the touch. The dealer said they can have a new engine harness made for about $2k but the van is not worth that. If I replace that harness with a junkyard replacement, do I have specific things to look out for other than year & engine type?
