2003 making a noise out of the front driver side. I know for a fact that the sway bar linkage end is broke and needs to be replaced. But I am hearing a noise that sounds similar to what the old sounds a knuckle joint use to make. I can't think of any other way to describe it.

Any idea. I am a female and broke.

 

start with the links and sway bar bushings. They are very common and make that noise

 

Good news I just had the van in to goodyear. They rotated my tires and that took care of the vibration I was experiencing at abou 30 MPH. They inspected and said what I am hearing is the sway bar linkage. $109.50 to fix it. Not bad at all.
