cv axle life
I have a 1995 Dodge Caravan Se 3.3 V-6 Automatic. I have a popping noise in the rear. So i jacked the van up and noticed. The cv axles need to be replaced. I have been told. If i drive it easy around sharp corners. That i may be able to get another 150000 miles out of them. Has any one ever heard of something like this ?. Im Real tight on money right now. And it is also my daily driver. How safe is it to keep driving it ?. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
CV (constant velocity joints) are the joints on the drive axles and if you only have FWD they will be only on the front of the van. Stating the obvious, this popping sound is being caused by something else.
