Seat Belt Laws Do They Half To Fix
I have a 1995 Dodge Caravan Se 3.3 V-6 4-Speed Automatic and have a safety question...The driver side shoulder belt...Will not extract and i was wondering...Since it is a safety feature...Would the dealership...By law...Be required by law to fix it ?...Without charging me...I have been told...Yes they would fix...Because that year there were recalls...Im just curious... How the recalls work ?...I welcome feedback...Thanks
No they don't have to fix it. There was never a seatbelt recall on a 95 minivan. It's even possible that the part isn't even available from Chrysler anymore. I would say hit the salvage yards, but they may be all crushed and recycled by now.
