I have a 1995 Dodge Caravan 3.3 V-6 4-Speed Automatic

As stated before...In other post...I have posted without any feedback.
The door has a dent and i have been thinking about using bondo or filler to repair it...I have many years knowledge in body work...But it has been awhile...Since i have did any kind of metal or body work on a automobile...I have popped the dent out pretty good...But the question that i have...Should i remove the bondo or filler off with 60 grit sandpaper ?...I'm trying to avoid scratching as much as possible...Should i use 120-220 for final sanding ?...Like i have said...It has been awhile...I cant remember the sandpaper orders or steps...I Look forward to any feedback...Thanks
