Fuel pump whines when hot outside.

All,

My fuel pump in my 03 GC 3.3l whines when it gets hot outside. Is it on its way out?
I have already changed the fuel filter.

Gasoline should be keeping pump cool, If it starts making a whinning sound. It maybe time to replace the pump assy.
