I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan that starts to shudder and shake pretty bad after going over bumps and in some exits on the highway. It seems to vibrate pretty bad and then subside, usually at speeds over 55 mph. Doing some searches online, the problem looks and sounds exactly like the infamous "death wobble" that plauges a lot of the Ram trucks. I haven't really seen anything regarding Caravan's however...has anyone else experience this problem as well?

Additionally, over some bumps or potholes in the road there is a large bang coming from the driver side...not sure if this is a bad strut or what.

The Caravan had a new sway bar and tie rod ends installed less than a year ago.

Appreciate any information or help with this problem.

You need to raise the van and inspect the front end and the tires too. Something may have come loose.
