Default steering fluid leaking?

Looking for some help or advice.
I have 2006 Gr. Caravan SXT,, 3.8L, 60K miles, orig. owner.
4 months ago I replaced the power steering reservoir and fluid to fix the clogged screen and whining noise- worked great.

Now as you can see from the pics- I have fluid in many places underneath.
These pics are all taken from underneath the car, drivers side, behind the transmission, near axle and boots...looks like its on one boot and stuff below the boot. Then also coming from above a small rectangle box, maybe 5" x 4"?

Could it be that the new fluid is getting past the seals? that's what local garage thought and wants $800 to replace "rack & pinion" assy.......they didn't sound like they did much anaylsis, just saying replace a bunch of expensive stuff.

Don't know for sure there wasn't a leak here before I replaced the reservior.
There's no spots on the ground under the vechicle and it doesn't seem like the fluid level in the reservior is dropping, and I don't think I spilled all these changing the reservior, but maybe.....

Thoughts?

my 06 was leaking at the seals too, and the gear aswell, the fix is to replace the rack, mine was quoted at 850$

you might want them to replace the pressure hose too and maybe the return hose aswell, I had to replace my pressure hose about 4months later since it started to leak too
