Trouble installing new spark plugs
I have a 92 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L and I'm trying to change the plugs with minimum success I got the old ones out easily but I am struggling getting the final 2 rear plugs installed I got the rear plug on the drivers side but for some reason can't get the middle one in the hole I can reach it with an extension from the bottom but it won't go in the hole and the plug under the alternator keeps lining up crooked. Any Ideas I really gotta get it done cause I need to do major brake work on my Ram Van and have no backup car
Ramvan1, if you have not been able to reallign those last 2 plugs by now... you may need to take out the wiper/air inlet grid below your winshield, so you can get behind the alternator and get a better look at the plug holes. It is a bear, but you do not want to strip the threading in the head...
I wish there were firewall windows for this maintenance job.
The dang plugs cost $5 ea and $150 to have them installed

A good tip,,,,get a piece of vacuum hose that fits snug in the sparkplug ceramic. point it in the plug hole and thread it in. Be sure you have some type of lubricant on the threads.. That should make it thread in easier...
Thanks for the replies I'm doing it from underneath and I swear this van is evil. I didn't have trouble with any of the other plugs but these final 2 are kicking my rear I'll try the vaccum hose I think Dodge should train monkeys to do this job and rent them to ya'
