Mpg
In 2003 my Grand Caravan 3.3 engine was getting 20 to 21 combined MPG and 23 hwy.
I now have 160,000 miles on it. I keep the engine and transmission in excellent condition. I treat this vehicle like it is an airplane. In 1973, I graduated Chrysler Motect in Michigan. Back then, we had to learn how to rebuild or repair every part of the car. I was an A+ student.
It is my hope that I don’t have to buy another vehicle in my life time; I am headed toward 70 years of age. So far I have done all my mechanic work myself for 38 years; I fear the day I will have to start paying.
The technology since 1973 and troubleshooting has really advanced, but I have tried my best to keep up, but this puzzle me. I am now only getting combined 16 to 17 MPG. Can the corn in the gasoline do this? Does anyone have other ideas?
