Interesting situation...
So I purchased a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SE last July. Even when we bought it I just knew the wheels on the caravan were not the ones that belonged on it. I recently had to change the front brake pads and rotors. Upon completion of the job and pulling out of the garage, I heard grinding and scraping. Turns out the brake calipers were grinding the inside of the wheels. After some research, I discovered the wheels that came on the van are from a 3rd gen town & country. They are the 16 x 6.5 wheels with gold inlay...frequently seen on the dark green town and countries. Now, the sticker on the drivers side door says the vehicle came stock with 15 x 6.5" wheels. Can anyone tell me the offset differences between the two wheels? Can anyone suggest a cheap alternative to obtain these stock wheels? Anyone wanna swap? All help and information is appreciated.

You didn't hear the grinding before the brake job? And the brake parts, were they for 16 inch wheels or for the 15 inch wheels. If you need the correct size of the tires, send me a pm with the last 9 of the vin and I'll be able to tell.

Nope, no grinding pre-brake job. The brake parts for the van were looked up per the VIN. So therefore, the brakes were for that exact vehicle and the wheels that are supposed to be on it, the 15" x 6.5". I even switched out the brake set for another set in hopes I had a poorly machined set of brake pads. Like I was saying, I have 16 inch tires from a third generation town and country as seen here: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...%3Disch&itbs=1 So yes I would like the wheel offsets for both of the wheels mentioned in this thread as well as any ideas on obtaining the correct wheels. Thanks again!
