96 Caravan-Reawakened after two years
I have recently inherited a 1997 Caravan that sat for two years. After putting in a new battery, changing the oil and transmission fluids she started like a champ.
I have only driven her a couple of miles per day and there are some interesting tendencies:
The air conditioning/heating fan only comes on when it is turned to its highest setting.
Water is entering the car from under the dash, whenever there is a hard rain or car wash.
The power window on the passenger side needs to be helped along, gently.
Any ideas what might be causing these issues?

Blower - bad resistor block located on the passenger side firewall. Here's a ******* encyclopedia on all things blower related including pictures: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=340871 That's odd. The forum is blocking the word v i r t u a l
Water - Plugged wiper well drains. Underhood 1 inch diameter flex tubes. One on passenger side, one on driver's side.
- Plugged A/C condensate drain. Small 3/8 inch diameter tube sticking out of the firewall down behind the alternator.
- Bad windshield seal. Not likely but possible.
Window - weak motor - Brushes in the window motor wear decreasing current flow. Can't handle the window's weight. Change
window regulator assembly.

FWIW - I had a 2007 Nissan Frontier and the window would act the same way. I sprayed some WD-40 on the window and ran it up and down and it came back to life.
