2000 3.0 4 speed trans diff pin

i been reading on the time bomb diff pin problems. is the pin serviceable by removing diff cover plate? and is there some new improved pin for this unit ?

Yes there is an updated pin and bracket. Would need to remove the diff assy to replace these parts. Mopar number 4659235AB pin and 4800013AB for the bracket.
