Question 2002 Grand Caravan Transmission Problems

I have a 2002 Grand Caravan Sport with 188000 miles on it, I have not had a problem then all of a sudden it started acting up. I brought it to Auto Zone the codes they gave me were: P0700 AND P0720. does anyone know what this means in layman's terms? Auto Zone did not even tell me if it is parts I need or what. I hope someone can help me.

Welcome to DF
The P0720 code is a output sensor code. Replace the output sensor and clear your code.

I have a 2002 Grand Caravan that won't shift. Fluid is ok, don't look or smell burnt. Dont slip in low or reverse. Just won't shift out of low.

Then you need to have someone with diagnostic tools identify the root cause of the problem.

A simple analogy, post on a medical forum saying your arm hurts. is that enough information to conclude the cure for that problem?

Welcome to dodge forum c1971
If you can, I'll need the codes that are stored in the TCM. If you have any questions just send me pm.

if your speed sensor went out, it most likely went into "limp mode" (won't come out of 2nd gear)

Thats right, But you still need to know what the codes are before you just throw sensors at the transmission.
