1997 dodge caravan wont start after new trany installed
I have a 1997 Dodge caravan, we replaced the Transmission,and now it will turn over but won't start...Its a 3.8 6 cyl...
When the transmission went out,I was driving down the road,I heard a loud metal POP,and all the gears were gone, and I drifted to safety...Is there a safety feature on the caravan that shuts down anything, that could be re-set?
I am desperate, and have heard to check the crank sensor...winter is on the horizon, and I need my car back...please help!!!

If the van ran before the transmission was replaced, then I would start at the crank sensor and wires. Did you add the little cert at the bottom of the crank sensor? Thats to adjust the air gap.
