1998 Caravan front wipers won't turn off
I have a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan in which the wipers won't turn off. I was doing other work on the car and the battery ran down. After I recharged the battery the wipers would not turn off. Work I was doing was replacing some portion of the brake lines off the distribution block under the car. A week later I unhooked the battery for a few hours and put it back and the problem seemed to go away. But I was doing more work on the interior with doors open and it ran the battery down again. Same problem was back.
I unhooked the battery one more time for over night but problem won't go away. All the work I am doing is to sell the darn thing, but I need to fix this first.

These vans have a crappy wiper control system. I've had issues like this numerous times. Some causes included: wiper switch, wiper motor, BCM and ground wire on wiper motor.
I had one van that really kicked my butt... The only way I could get it work properly was replaced motor, bcm, switch and cleaned all grounds on the circuits. The parts all came from an identical van where everything worked properly. even still after I swapped all the parts, on occasion, the wipers would randomly come on and swipe 1-4 times . totally random.
