lefr rear wheel hub
while rotating my tire on my 03 0grand caravan found three studs messed up. i can seem to get the wheel hub off so i can remove tand replace them. the van has drums in the rear. any help would be greatly appericated. thanks
often the rear drums are very difficult to remove due to natures strongest bonding agent, RUST. often requiring penetrating oil, heat and a big hammer
are the studs messed up so bad that a die can't clean up the threads?

OK, what I've done on my vehicles, is drive out bad stud and press/draw in new one w/o removing the hub assembly.
to draw in, I put the stud in the hole, then stack 1/2 dozen greased washers and using a lug nut, draw the stud into the hole. I torque to 100ft lbs, and release pressure on the nut inorder to ensure the stud is proper seated. After installing the wheel, I torque lug nuts to 100ftlbs. then after 50-100 miles of driving, I retorque just to make sure everything is set correctly.
