hello all my name is mike from florida this is my first post i have a question about my dodge caravan 1994 3.3 engine does anyone know how to count the flashes on the check engine light and how to determine the codes ? the van starts but will only run if i keep my foot on the gas pedal if i let off the gas it shuts down not really sure whats wrong the check engine light comes on but need help reading the flashes thanks much mike in florida

Welcome to the sight Mike. You turn the key on / off / on / off / on. The check engine lamp will flash 2 number codes. It will flash the first number, then a short pause and the second number. Longer pause and the next code if there is more than one. I believe the last code it flashes is 55, that is the "end of codes" code. Let us know what you get.
