When I hit the cruise control "on" button on the steering wheel, the "cruise" light, in the instrument cluster, only flashes on/stays on for a split second and obviously the cruise doesn't work. Any Suggestions as to what is wrong? I'm not a mechanic, but just wondering what to expect if/when I bring to a garage, or if it is something i can get a "backyard mechanic" to look at for me.

 

Check and see if you have any codes in the PCM
