Default 01, strange headlights!

Hi there! I have an 01 caravan and the headlights are acting strange!
Only the left driving light works and when I turn on the headlights the right one works but not the left.
I've changed the bulbs and they still do the same thing!
Any help would be great!

Thanks!

Steve

Where the front control module connects to the PDC, the terminals get spread so they don't make good contact anymore. There are lots of threads on here dealing with it.

This is a picture of the PDC. The front control module bolts to the front of the PDC down by the headlamp.

This is the front control module pulled away from the PDC. That is the connector that has the spread terminals.

This is the connector, terminals 3,4,5 and 6 are the low and high beam headlamp drivers. I bend the connectors back with a dental pick. Be carefull because if you break them you have to replace the PDC.

Great thank you! I'm going to give this a try tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
I do have a question though, do I need to unhook the battery first? I thought I read here somewhere that I should?

Thanks!

It would be a good idea to disconnect the battery first.

Hi Tizzy1,

Thank you so much for your great advice I did what you said and now my lights work great and I can drive at night once again!

Thank you so much, you saved me a bunch of cash that I really don't have to throw around as I have a family to feed.

Keep up the great work!
