P0442,P0455,P0556 codes help
So I know the 442 and 455 codes deal with the evap/vac leakage and I have read some good threads for those issues. Does anyone have any information on the P0556- very small leak code?
my vehicle:
03 GC with 125,000
3.3L
replaced gas cap already//didn't help...
other recent repairs that shouldn't be related: flush, clean, refill pwr steering reservoir(pwr steering is quiet now!)&replaced rear brake wheel cylinders(brakes workin nice now)

The 400 series codes deal with emission controls. Your P0556 is a brake problem according to my sources. What's your source?
Could you mean P0456? http://www.obd-codes.com/p0456
It is troubleshot the same as any leak using a smoke machine or visual inspection. See the video in this thread: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-c...caravan-2.html

My source for the codes was a code reader at Advanced Auto. I wrote the codes down myself once clerk pulled them up and I confirmed them with him. 556 being associated with brakes doesnt seem to wierd for me. Seems like the brakes are my biggest issue with this vehicle in the last year. I had bad rear wheel cylinders so I replaced them along with the rear drums and shoes. It is possible I didnt tighten something up all the way. Brakes have been fine though...
