Hello to everyone. I bought a used 2006 Grand Caravan SXT about 6 month ago. Since then the catalytic converter, radiator, water pump, radiator resovoir tank have needed to be replaced. Just when I thought I was in the clear after some serious rain two days ago I was driving and the charging light came on. Luckily I was about two blocks from home and I made it without a problem. The following day I checked the battery and alternator with a multimeter and a tester I have and they both checked out OK. I ran the OBD2 scanner and no codes appear. I am concerned that I will go out and it leave me on foot. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

usually if the battery lamp comes on it sets a code in the PCM. I guess if it is working now and there was no codes set, I wouldn't worry about it until another occurance.
