Instrument Cluster ~ Not Illuminating at Night
I own a 2002 Dodge Caravan SE. The instrument cluster is working fine however when driving at night there is no light illuminating the area to see the speedometer and such. We do make use of the dimmer **** on the side but it is active and currently set to the default center position.
I've turned the light control to the center position to enable the instrument cluster light but no go. Im guessing either a dead fuse or bulb. I checked in the fusebox but didnt see the correct item for the instrument cluster. As for replacing the bulb i have no idea how to do such a thing, if even possible.
Thanks.

Hmm. I looked under the driver side dash to the left of the brake pedal and this is what i see:

I cant figure out which of these if the fuse box. Everything looks screwed down or tightly clamped. Is it (A), (B), or (C)? Or am i looking in the wrong area?
For the record i did already look within the hood's IPM fuse / relay box.
LASTLY, i do notice a high pitched sound when i go to start the car. The noise turns off once i turn the ignition all the way on. Any ideas on what this high pitched sound represents?
Thanks

SUCCESS
For my 2002 Dodge Caravan SE the only fuse box i could locate was the one under the hood. The solution to my instrument cluster backlight was to disconnect the battery (or pull out the IOD fuse 15-amp) for 30 mins then reconnect. This reset the auto breaker in the car and restored the back light.
All is good now.
Thank you all.

FYI - Starting with the first 4th generation vans in 2001, there is only one fuse panel. That's the Integrated Power Module better known as the IPM located near the battery.
