Default 17 inch winter tires

it looks as though they might fit. i tried one on and it goes. my questions is, will i have to have the speedometer reprogrammed?. may as well buy a new set of all seasons if i have to have it done every fall when winters go and and then again in the spring when they come off ( the winter tires)

i got them for free, in case anyone wonders why i didnt just buy 16 inchers

thx for your time

Until someone pipes in - Miata.net Tire Size Calculator will calculate the affect on your speedometer reading when you change the size of your tires and wheels. It might be small enough not to worry about...

You may need to have the pinion factor reset for the 17 inch wheels.

well, with the dealer telling me i might have to recalibrate something for the new wheels and the new sensors and, and , and,

its beginning to sound like it may be cheaper to just buy new 16 inch tires.

thx anyway for the answers.
