If you have a 2011 Grand Caravan that shifts rough, especially when in "Econ" mode, there are two new computer patches that may need to be installed. It makes a tremendous difference in shift feel, power and gas mileage. After four months of debating whether or not our transmission had a problem or not (and one threatened trip to the PD for disorderly conduct on my part) with my service department, lo and behold, when we went to get the van serviced this week, a computer patch had popped up to fix my transmission that seemed to shift well (they didn't drive it in the econ mode) to the technician. You could feel the difference immediately before we were even off the lot.

 

Outstanding Scrooboo - thanks for the update. If you search this forum (2011 Transmission) - a bunch of transmission threads pop up. I wonder if the "fix" will take care of some of them. Anyway - thanks!
