Default Unruly Windshield Wipers

I have a 2002 Dodge Caravan and the wipers just turned on after hiting a speed bumb - They will not go off even after taking the keys out of the ignition. I pulled the fuse and the fuse and if either are pulled they stop.

What do I need to look at?

Default Wipers

I had a 1996 Caravan which did the same thing. Seems like it was the clockspring in the steering column which somehow had a short. We used to call the phenomenon the Vodoo Wipers as they went on at the strangest of times. We never got it repaired and it went away. I hope this helps. In any case we got 15 years out of the vehicle. I bought a new 2006 3.3 Grand and love it. A great vehicle.

Only circuits that go through the clockspring are the horn, cruise, airbag and radio if equipped. If it's not ON the steering wheel it doesn't go through the clockspring.

It could, only if the ground circuit is also sharing the ground on the wiper circuit.
