Great news. Glad to hear they treated you well. A second failure for the clockspring is fairly rare but isn't unheard of. Too bad it bit you. Anyway, your Christmas will be a tad bit happier now.

Looking at a wiring diagram, the clockspring is the only component common to all three systems. Add it's history and it was a pretty sure bet to be the culprit. I'll never say anything is a 100% sure bet given the curves these vans can throw at you now and then, especially on the electrical systems. That said, this issue is the closest it gets.
