Park Brake Actuating Lever -- Installed Correctly?
I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan with rear drums and want to know if I've installed my Park Brake Actuating Lever correctly:

Ignore the busted Wheel cylinder. The lever is installed on the trailing brake shoe only at the lower hole (see RED ARROW) but it is being snagged / forked by the park brake actuating strut at the lower part of the trailing shoe. I was only copying what i saw when i took it apart. The upper part of the park brake lever appears to be free to move while it rests behind the trailing shoe:

Is this correct in how to install the park brake lever? There is a little raised lump on the lever (as seen in the diagram) but it doesnt appear to serve any purpose like sliding in a hole of the trailing shoe.
Thanks
