I need to take in a sample color of my car exterior to the paint shop. I cant drive the car at the moment so am considering removing the fuel filler lid that swings open / shut to reveal the gas cap inside.

How do i remove the fuel filler swing-open cover?

Doesn't the VIN include the paint color?
