hi. i replaced water pump an timing belt a little while ago and got it all put back together and now coolant leaks from under the pump. i have a feeling it is where the pump fits on the metal tube. i had a tough time getting the pump to seat properly and now have to redo the entire job. any suggestions on this procedure that anyone has learned by doing this job? thanks in advance!

 

The problem maybe the crossover tube, it maybe roted out and the it not sealing to the pump. You need to remove the intake manifold to replace the tube.
