Default Help with Alternator

I have a 2000 Grand Caravan with the 3.3L flex fuel. I just finished replacing the belt tensioner and belt and all is well. Since I couldn't find the nut on the back of the tensioner at first, I loosened the lower front alternator bolt. Once I figured out that it was unnecessary, I tried to tighten it back but it would not tighten. Is there a nut on the back of that lower bolt or is there a hole to screw it into? Sounds like such an easy thing, but I could not find it. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
