Default Safety Switch Neutral

Hello together
I'm new here and need some help please.

2003 Dodge Caravan

Where do I find the Safety Switch for the "neutral " position? (automatic transmission)
The van won't start, and I don't hear the solenoid klicking.
I checked the battery ( + ) at the starter, is ok.
I also jumped the solenoid from battery ( + ) to the small terminal at the starter, is ok, engine turns over but does'nt start or run.

Thank you for your time

That wasn't my question, but thanks anyway !!

I tested the wire from the solenoid to the plug undernees the fuse/relay box . is OK.
But in the same plug the solenlid wire meets with 2 smaller wires. Brown/White and White/Brown.
The safety switch was just an idea, because I can hear all the humming and other noises except the solenoid.

Thanks again Bugworks

"I can hear all the humming and other noises". If you can verify the starter relay is clicking when you turn the key to start, the park/neutral signal is getting to the PCM. When the PCM sees that signal it supplies the ground to the starter relay allowing it to close, creating the click.

Manual or 3 speed transmission uses the standard park/neutral switch mounted on the outside of the tranny. The 4 speed transmissions use the transmission range sensor mounted inside the tranny above the valve body.

unless you have a 3 speed transmission, the transmission has a range sensor inside that it uses to determine shifter position. when the PCM see's neutral or park, it will ground the starter relay.
